About Us
The Westfield Mayor's Council on Disabilities will work tirelessly to make a positive impact on the lives of those with a disability in the Westfield community through education, advocacy, and partnerships with local non-profits, businesses, the school district, support groups and other disability resources.
The Three Pillars - Short-term goals:
Life-cycle planning from birth to death. Planning life's course and transitions along the way are essential for a happy life. Being included in conversations, decisions, opportunities too, is essential and something all individuals deserve. No one should be excluded from any conversation or unheard. Having access to all that abled persons have is critical for an individuals success, happiness and overall health. Everyone matters and has a specific purpose in life. It's important to discover our gifts and be an active part of our community.
